Sunset magazine will hold its 13th annual Celebration Weekend on Saturday and Sunday, June 5-6, on its seven-acre campus at 80 Willow Road in Menlo Park.
A 2,500-square-foot “Glam-camping” area will feature three trailers, including the Teardrop Trailer by Vacations-in-a-Can that can be customized with an espresso machine and solar shower.
Seventeen celebrity chefs from throughout the West will appear on the main cooking stage. Safeway will sponsor an outdoor entertaining area, where chefs demonstrate their grilling techniques and share recipes.
As part of Sunset’s “On the Go” theme, food trucks will be on site to serve up everything from cupcakes to Korean barbecue. The trucks will include those from Sam’s Chowder House near Half Moon Bay and Kara’s cupcakes.

Yes, Sunset magazine has asked to use our teardrop trailer as part of their “glamping” exhibit. Glamorous camping! We are so excited and so greatful to Sunset magazine for the exposure of the teardrop trailer industry. There are a few of us out there who are pioneering the way in making teardrop trailers available to those who do not have the time or skill to build their own and we humbly thank Sunset magazine for noticing ours. We hope this event will encourage travelers to rethink how they travel or camp, to spend some time outside their living spaces and enjoy the great outdoors and open roads without giving up the comfort of a cozy, comfortable bed to rest their bones at night.
So come check out the teardrop trailer in Menlo Park June 5th and 6th and discover what a teardrop trailer can do for you. http://www.sunset.com/marketplace/celebration-weekend-2010-00418000067282/ (I hope the link works, if not got to www.sunset.com and click on the sunset events tab.).
